Banyan is a personality assessment platform that creates a detailed, exportable AI personality profile for you. Take a 63-question assessment once, and receive a ready-to-use system prompt you can paste into Claude, ChatGPT, or any other AI assistant — making that AI behave in a way that matches your communication style, values, and preferences.

How It Works

The assessment is structured around a tree growth metaphor across four sections:

• Roots (15 questions) — Core values: integrity, empathy, growth, excellence
• Trunk (18 questions) — Dominant personality traits, optional faith/spirituality, learning style
• Branches (15 questions) — Communication style preferences
• Leaves (15 questions) — Surface behaviors and everyday patterns

Results include normalized 0–100 scores for each trait, Big Five personality dimensions, learning style detection (Visual, Auditory, Reading/Writing, Hands-on/Kinesthetic), and a generated system prompt for AI configuration.

Guest Mode

You can complete the entire assessment without creating an account. After finishing, you'll be prompted to sign up to save your results. Your data is preserved and linked to your account securely.

• Canopy — $12/month or $130/year: 5 assessments per month, 10 attachments, fine-tuning sliders, chat preview, community access
• Banyan Pro — $25/month or $285/year: Unlimited assessments, 20 attachments, priority support, early feature access, premium community

Team and Corporate Accounts

Companies can purchase seat-based team subscriptions. Admins invite employees via secure email tokens. Role hierarchy: Owner (billing), Admin (manage members), Member. Custom per-client pricing, optional domain restrictions, and Stripe billing with automatic seat-count syncing.

Education Feature

Universities can partner with Banyan so students can search for professor AI profiles by name, department, or subject — and interact with an AI tuned to that professor's teaching style. Students can also create custom tutors if their professor isn't listed.

Authentication

Sign in with Google, GitHub, X (Twitter), or Apple via Replit OAuth. Email and password login also supported.
